Update Coverage Option with Terms
Replaces a coverage option’s own fields, its peril group terms (including each group’s subperils) and its per-zone terms in a single request. The body is the coverage option’s complete state:
nameandbi_limit_typeare required;default_bi_period_daysresets to null when omitted.uuidis optional, since the URL already identifies the coverage option, but when supplied it must match it.peril_termsandper_zone_termsare required and must name every peril group and zone on the coverage option, each exactly once. Leaving one out is an error rather than a silent no-op, since this endpoint cannot create or delete them. The same applies to each group’ssubperils.- Within an entry, any term left out is reset to its default rather than carried over. The one exception is a field the entry’s own
is_sublimit_combined/is_deductible_combinedmakes invalid: those are ignored, and cleared, exactly as on the single-object endpoints.
Each peril term’s display_name is required (it has no default to reset to) and must be unique across the coverage option. is_bi_split_allowed is read-only.
The whole request is atomic: if any entry is rejected, nothing is changed. Errors on a list are reported positionally, e.g. {"peril_terms": [{}, {"sublimit": ["..."]}]}.
